Evolis Printer Ribbons

Evolis color printer ribbons are used for printing a combination of full-color images and one-color text or barcodes.

Evolis YMCKO ribbons consist of yellow (Y), magenta (M), and cyan (C) panels for printing a full spectrum of colors by combining the colors using varying degrees of heat. The (K) panel is a black resin panel, typically used for printing text and barcodes and the (O) panel is a thin, clear protective overlay that is applied over the entire surface of your cards. Evolis ribbons are specially back-coated to extend printhead life.

Evolis Avansia Color Ribbon

The Avansia color ribbon is designed for use with the Avansia ID card printer and must be used in conjunction with clear retransfer film for Avansia printers.

• YMCK RT full-color ribbon – 500 images per roll
• YMCKK RT full-color ribbon including a second K panel – 400 images per roll (ideal for full-color printing on one side and black on the other)
• YMCKI RT full-color ribbon with magnetic stripe and/or chip – 400 images per roll (ideal for printing to a magnetic stripe or smart chip equipped cards)
• YMCKH RT full-color ribbon – 400 images per roll (designed for printing to non PVC cards)
• YMCFK RT full-color ribbon with UV panel – 400 images per roll (UV Panel enables the added security of printing an image only visible under a black light)

Evolis Primacy YMCKO Color Ribbon

• YMCKO full-color ribbon including overlay panel – 200 images per roll
• YMCKO full-color ribbon including overlay panel – 300 images per roll
• YMCKO half panels & overlay panels color ribbon – 400 images per roll (ideal for when full-color coverage is not necessary)
• YMCKO-K full-color ribbon including overlay panel and second K panel – 200 images per roll (ideal for full-color printing on one side and black on the other)
• YMCKO-KO half panels & overlay panels color ribbon and second K & O panel– 250 images per roll (ideal for when full-color coverage is not necessary; color on one side and black on the other)

Evolis Zenius YMCKO Color Ribbon

• YMCKO full-color ribbon including overlay panel – 200 images per roll
• YMCKO half panels & overlay panels color ribbon – 400 images per roll (ideal for when full-color coverage is not necessary)

Evolis Retransfer Ribbons

Retransfer printers print your card image to the underside of the retransfer film. The printed film is then fused to the card using a thermal bonding process for flawless results

Evolis Avansia Retransfer Ribbon

In conjunction with an Evolis full-color ribbon, the Evolis Retransfer Film enables the Evolis Avansia to print a combination of full-color images and one-color text or barcodes. This Retransfer Film is required for printing cards with the Evolis Avansia.

• High resolution 600 dpi: images and text are rendered perfectly and micro-text and watermarks are printed in high definition.
• Over the edge printing: this printer will guarantee that your edges print perfectly since the film fully covers the card.
